Speaker 1:

Hi there and welcome to the CardCast. I'm Natasha and I'm so glad you're here. Each day I pull an oracle card and reflect on what it means in the context of everyday life. My hope is to help you use these cards as simple tools for awareness and grounding. So take a deep breath, settle in and let's see what today's card has to say.

Speaker 1:

Today's card is from the Citadel Oracle by Fenn Inkwright, and our card is the painter, and it says productivity and creation. This is a really beautiful card and there are a lot of things going on. There are three paint strokes that are led by a paintbrush in three columns across the card, and three is representative of communication and self-expression and creativity. So very fitting for the painter card. The paint strokes are red, and red is pointing to vitality and passion and good fortune. And then it's painting over something floral that appears to be a rose, and roses are beauty and love. And then there's also a water symbol at the bottom of the card and water being cleansing, renewal. It could be emotions. So we have a lot of really great symbolism on this card. What immediately comes to mind when I see it is this font of creativity and how our creativity can really make us more productive in a lot of other ways I know. Recently I did an episode where I talked about healing through art, and we can heal through art. We find our creativity through art. Whatever your art is, let that font of creativity help make you more productive, not only in the arts, but in other areas.

Speaker 1:

In looking at this card also, it's not until the paint strokes are completed that we can see the floral, that we can see the roses underneath, and I think that also points to we have to get started in order to figure out where something is going. Sometimes we think we need all the answers and we want to have these very perfect plans. I believe in the military they say that no plan survives first contact. How could it? Because it's, you know know, planned in a very safe, insulated environment. So with this card it's pointing to when we get started.

Speaker 1:

The path kind of unfolds as we're walking. Start with that first brush stroke, start with that first word, start with that first action or that first conversation and that's what will ultimately propel us into this beautiful creation, this beauty, this vitality, this potential renewal and being able to overcome different challenges and emotions and really lean into our own selfression. This is a really vibrant and seemingly passionate and creative card. As you move forward, kind of thinking about this card, where are those places where you can be more creative, where you can leverage that creativity and the perspective you have when you're creative in other ways, through your other types of work, and is there beauty or is there a creation that could come to fruition if you just took the first step? That's it for today's card. For more reflections and a closer look at the cards themselves, you can find me on Instagram, youtube and TikTok at the underscore card cast. I'll see you in the next episode.
